Ferienhaus "Zur Mühle"

The owners were lovely and always ready to help. Their beautiful holiday home sits in a quiet rural spot, away from the busy crowds. It’s a great base for bike rides along the Ems River and visits to its sights. Highly recommended.

The garden could be an issue with children since it’s stony, though it worked well enough for our dogs. We also felt it wasn’t fully enclosed, as there are open spots where the bushes are sparse. The apartment itself was very nice, clean, and neatly furnished. A dishwasher would be a welcome extra, but otherwise we were happy with it.

The Pauly family made us feel very welcome, and we’d happily come back. Communication before the trip was friendly and easy, and the apartment had everything we needed. There’s a playground nearby, and the area is great for long dog walks. We had a wonderful stay with our three children and two dogs in this spacious apartment beside the historic mill, in such a peaceful, idyllic spot. If you’re after some peace and quiet, this place is relaxing and well away from the crowds. The apartment is nicely furnished, and the landlords are very friendly. It has almost everything you might want, though you should bring your own pillow. They weren’t allowed, but I bring mine along anyway.
