The place is so peaceful, with fox and hare still wishing each other goodnight. We got to enjoy a few lovely, quiet days here. The thoughtful furnishings and carefully chosen decorations really appealed to us. The holiday apartment is equipped so well that nothing was missing and we didn’t have to do without anything. The landlords are very friendly and helpful, and made us feel understood, almost at home.

The apartment felt like home, with tasteful furnishings and a cozy place to sit in the sun. We spent a lovely week there, watching the sunset each evening. Our hosts were genuinely warm and clearly wanted their guests to be happy. Five stars from us, and we’d give ten if we could.

We had both the Morgentau and Stallgalerie apartments for our family holiday. They were spotless, well equipped, and nicely furnished, and the beds and highchairs for our two children were already provided. We didn’t feel we were missing anything. The landlords were friendly and helpful throughout. We’d happily return.

We had a wonderful stay at Hof Hilkenborg and would definitely recommend it. The garden was a lovely place to unwind, and the farm itself is quiet and idyllic, away from the bustle. Our apartment had lots of charming details and antiques, and the kitchen had almost everything we needed. Papenburg and Leer are close by if you want to explore.

The idyllic setting is great for excursions and activities, and we had a wonderful vacation. We stayed for a week as a family of four in the Stallgallerie. As soon as we walked in, we were speechless at how lovingly everything had been prepared. The house has such charm and attention to detail that it was easy to relax and get away from everyday life. We’ll definitely come back!
