ADAPT APARTMENT HOTEL Wetzlar

The room I was given today was incredibly dirty. I waited an hour and a half for another one, but the hotel has no front desk or direct number, so I had to call a central office twice. The first woman said someone would get in touch within an hour. Nobody did. When I called again, the man who answered had no idea what was happening, so I had to explain it all over. He said someone would call right away, but another half hour passed without a call. I was fed up and wouldn’t recommend the place. Update: On my third call, I asked the main office for the hotel’s direct number since they hadn’t sorted things out. A pleasant woman helped immediately, and I had a new room within five minutes. Thanks to her. At least the new room had clean walls, but the floor was a disaster. I don’t have the energy to say any more about it.

The quiet was especially welcome, even with the central Wetzlar location. I was there for a business trip and found the Wi-Fi, kitchen and bed all made for a comfortable stay. Check-in was easy, and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly. The Adapter Apartment was very clean and modern, with plenty of equipment and clear attention to comfort and detail. I enjoyed my stay and would happily come back. Thanks for the lovely accommodation.

My reservation apparently didn’t exist when I finally tried to check in. I’d messaged two days earlier to explain I’d arrive in town very early and ask about checking in ahead of time. They replied that there was an error and check-in was at 4 pm, so I waited. Then I was left outside in the rain and cold for another hour, and after that they stopped replying. The whole check-in process was awful and far too complicated.

The apartments were clean and checking in was really easy. I’d happily stay again.
