We’re three friends from Scotland and stayed four nights in three rooms. The hotel was convenient for Wetzlar or Leica, and clean, comfortable accommodation at good value. It’s about a 15-minute brisk walk from the railway station and five minutes from the Dom in the old city. Check-in was self-service when we arrived. Our rooms were spacious and very comfortable, with good showers. Breakfast had a good selection of local produce. Staff were around to serve coffee and tea and keep the buffet topped up, and they were very friendly.

The staff were really open and helpful, and I enjoyed dinner at the hotel. The dishes looked great and were truly extraordinary. I really liked the hotel, and the rooms were clean and super cozy.

The restaurant food was excellent, and the hotel was good value. It’s a nice place that’s recently been refurbished. Breakfast could be better: there were no eggs or bacon, and I had to hunt around for plates and glasses.

My room’s heating wasn’t working, but I managed with the electric heater in the bathroom. The place was nice and clean, and the furniture looked new.
