Wetzlarer Hof

We stayed for a week and would definitely pick this place again. It’s great value, and all the staff were friendly and helpful 💓 The hotel is right by a bus stop, with easy access to the Leica museum and Wetzler train station, and the old town is walkable. The balcony view is great and really adds to the holiday mood. Rooms 311 or 312, I think, have that view, and the price difference isn’t much. The room isn’t fancy, but it’s practical and even has a hair dryer. It’s very quiet in this residential area. There’s parking and a breakfast buffet, and no one checks your room number, so you can just pop in and relax.

I was here for two weeks during a training program. The room was nicely equipped and had lots of natural light, which I appreciated. The location was good, with plenty of places within walking distance. Breakfast was good, though limited. My main difficulties were that there were no laundry facilities, and no nearby markets for food or water.

I love it here! :) The area is lovely and full of history, and the room was very clean with comfortable beds. Reception staff are really nice and greet you each time. Towels and linens were changed daily. Breakfast had a good selection, though they didn’t have the white bread I prefer.

The showers are great, breakfast is really good, and the beds are comfortable. It’s a very nice small hotel, clean and comfy. Some rooms can feel awkwardly small, and there’s no AC.
