It’s a great spot for a long walk, and dogs are allowed! 😍 The owner is really friendly. The rooms are OK and big enough, but the bathroom is shared, and I agree that it smells. It’s extremely foggy today.

After cycling 105 km into a headwind, we were so grateful to reach this accommodation. Breakfast had been prepared with care and set us up nicely for another day on the bikes. Warm regards to the two donkeys, and thank you so much for having us.

I found a reasonably priced room for my return trip, even though I hadn’t booked ahead. The homely decor helped me feel at ease, and it was handy to have a nearby kitchen where I could cook. Towels were by the shower, and everything was very clean. I ate in the carport and had a nice chat with another guest, though I did put the ashtrays away.

The service was very friendly, and breakfast was good. My room was tiny, with dated furnishings that weren’t very comfortable. At €45 without breakfast, though, the price was very reasonable.

I was sorry when I finally had to pack up after three months at this guesthouse. Mr. and Mrs. Nagel were exceptionally good hosts, always friendly and helpful, and the value for money was top-notch. The location is quiet and very rural, and the rooms were cleaned regularly and thoroughly. I especially liked the donkeys on the farm. Thanks for a wonderful three months!
