B&B HOTEL Wolfsburg-Weyhausen

The room was clean and pleasant, as I’ve come to expect from this hotel chain in Spain, and Germany was the same. France hasn’t been as good in my experience. I did find the room noisy, though. The extra 5€ for outside parking was a first for me, since I’ve stayed at other B&B hotels without paying for it. Maybe their policy has changed, which would be a shame. And breakfast at 14€ is too expensive for what I’d get, so it isn’t worth it for me.

I’ve stayed here regularly, but the service seems to be getting worse over time. The air conditioner in my room didn’t work at all. I asked them to fix it, but nothing was resolved. They’ve also started charging extra for parking.

The staff are friendly and everything runs smoothly, which makes this a handy simple, modern place to stay overnight before a meeting at VW’s R&D centre. The rooms are small, with minimal furniture, and breakfast is basic. It sticks to the essentials, but it does those well.

There are several shops nearby, including Lidl, Netto, Aldi, DM, and Kik, plus at least two local fast food places. When I visited, the hotel looked brand new and was spotless, and the front desk staff were very nice and spoke English. The large parking lot is dedicated to the hotel, so the extra 5EUR charge seemed odd given the suburban location. Still, I found it comfortable, quiet, and good value.
