Haus am Schilf

The peninsula is a lovely place to slow down, and we loved our stay in the clean, cozy Hase apartment. Dogs are welcome, there’s a sauna, and the bread roll service is great. Wi-Fi could be better, and a few pictures on the walls would make the place cozier. The apartment also has a terrace.

The apartment is nicely furnished and in a quiet location, but we left with mixed feelings because a few things didn’t go smoothly. It looked clean at first, though we found that the kitchenware all needed a dishwasher wash, and the dishwasher was broken. After we raised it, we were given a key to use the dishwasher in the apartment across the hall. We also had to make our own beds on arrival, which wasn’t what we wanted after a long, tiring journey.

We’ve stayed at Haus am Schilf several times and know the Hahn, Seestern, and Muschel apartments. We’re big fans. The whole place, with its apartments and huge garden, is a dream, with lots of space, a sauna, and barbecue facilities. The apartments are modern, lovely, clean, and well equipped, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We found the amenities, location, and price unbeatable. We could bring our child, dog, and cat without any trouble. The one thing we miss is a washing machine. It costs extra to use, so unfortunately you have to drive all the way to Wustrow.

The sauna was fantastic, and we had it to ourselves. We also really liked the bread roll delivery. Everything was lovely, clean, and friendly, and the price for what you get was excellent.
