Breakfast was a real treat: we had the whole buffet to ourselves, with warm rolls, coffee, tea, juice, and lovely homemade jam. The family room had two separate rooms, a double bed in one and a single in the other, plus a large bathroom with a shower beside the main bedroom. Everything felt clean and comfortable. We’d decided on the Harz Mountains and an adventure mine at the last minute, and found this guesthouse through Booking.com. They welcomed us warmly and let us into our room 45 minutes early. Great value, and we’d happily return. Thanks for the hospitality!

The owners were really friendly, and we had some nice chats with them. They also gave us useful tips for excursions. Our room was very clean, and breakfast was good and plentiful.

The guesthouse is well placed for hikes and trips to nearby towns. It’s right by the main road, but we couldn’t hear the traffic. Breakfast was generous, and the coffee was strong. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and furnished in a rustic style. The owners greeted us so warmly and showed us in. I’d recommend staying here. The only thing I’d change is the curtains, which let in more light than I like.
