Stöltings Landhaus

We booked this B&B through Airbnb for an important event nearby. After hours of travel, we found the door locked and a handwritten note saying the person in charge was away on vacation and could be reached by phone. We tried repeatedly over several hours, but none of the numbers worked. No one answered our calls or messages, and we had no way to get inside. We were stranded in the middle of nowhere and eventually had to head home. That was completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place unless you want to be ignored at check-in.

The food is distinctive and high quality, made with regional products, and it’s served by wonderful people with the best vibes. Probably one of the friendliest places in the world. A must-visit in Germany, strongly recommended.

The owner really took an interest in my stay, and the place has a lovely homey feel. I travel for work all over Germany every week, and this was the first time anyone asked what I wanted for breakfast. The rooms were clean and the atmosphere felt like family. I arrived today, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The day felt unforgettable, thanks in large part to Ms. Mähler and her team. They were warm, professional, attentive, and made sure we and our guests had everything we needed. We had a dream wedding, and our guests were thrilled with the setting and service. We celebrated at Stöltings Landhaus on May 30, 2026, after our original venue canceled at short notice. Ms. Mähler kindly offered her country house, and looking back, we couldn’t have hoped for a better alternative. Surrounded by nature, animals, and a lovingly cared-for garden, it had a special atmosphere. The reception was just as lovely, with space to celebrate undisturbed late into the night and enjoy time with our guests. Many thanks to Ms. Mähler and her team. We wholeheartedly recommend Stöltings Landhaus. Desiree & Torben
