The family who run the accommodation were friendly, and there’s a lovely lake behind the main building. We really enjoyed staying in this down-to-earth, authentic castle. The renovation inside has been done really well.

It’s a really good spot for a nature-filled holiday. The hotel is very nice, and the food was wonderful. They often have special holiday programs too, such as on Christmas Day.

The breakfast was prepared with care, and the hosts were so warm. Our room was clean and really cozy, too. The surroundings are beautifully peaceful, with gorgeous nature and even magnificent peacocks! Nearby, there’s a large bird park and Karls Erlebnis-Dorf where the children can play. If you have time, a walk by the sea is perfect. We had a great family resort stay and would absolutely recommend it.

Seeing the peacocks on the terrace was something I won’t forget. The staff and hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and the natural setting made it easy to relax. I loved the beautifully restored castle, its tasteful decor, and how clean the room was. Breakfast was a real treat, with Mediterranean food and homemade organic bread and rolls. A perfect place to unwind and recharge.
