GDA Hotel Hildastift am Kurpark

I’m in Wiesbaden often, and this is where I’ll stay from now on. The rooms are clean and well equipped, the service is great, and it’s an easy walk through the park into the city.

I had a nice stay while attending training in Wiesbaden. The single beds have the usual spa-hotel electric controls for the head and feet, and an extra bed can be added without a problem. The rooms and bathroom are roomy, with lots of cupboard space in both the kitchen and the living and sleeping area. A mirror inside the wardrobe would have been useful. Pots and pans can be rented for a one-time €20 fee. Nescafé, creamer, sugar and tea were topped up every day. It’s peaceful here, with birdsong, and the covered balcony keeps you out of the rain. The town centre is about a 10-15 minute walk; I spotted a squirrel and a rabbit from the spa park across the way. There’s also a back entrance through the park with a gentler slope, though you need a key. I couldn’t locate the indoor pool and probably should have asked someone. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Our father has been living here for three years, and at 95 he couldn’t ask for better care or support. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. The facility is spotless, and the communication and services make it feel like a five-star hotel. Taking each person’s circumstances into account, I’d recommend considering a place like this early.
