The staff were friendly, but the state of the property made the stay less comfortable than I expected. It seems like it was probably a nice hotel once, though it really needs renovation and a lot of work.

Dirty, filthy, disgusting 🤮. Don’t recommend it. The building looks like it belongs in a low-budget horror movie. One staff member honestly warned guests not to use the kitchen pottery because it was filthy. They said it wasn’t being washed at all, and that they cleaned it with a toilet mop. Hearing that made me start vomiting. I also heard the owner pays the staff very little. I’d never go back, even in a zombie apocalypse.

The place had a relaxed, rustic feel, and our room was clean and comfortable, with a little kitchen area. The bed was great, and parking next to the property was free. It’s in a small town, but good restaurants and places to walk around are only 5 to 10 minutes away. Affordable, too.

There was no contact with employees or the owner after 8 p.m., and no key had been left in the box. I have recordings and photos as evidence. Trying to reach the staff was a fiasco. I lost both money and time getting there.
