We booked at the last minute after visiting the Nürburgring, and the location worked really well, with parking for our racecar. The receptionist was very friendly and kind to us again over breakfast in the morning. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and the quiet surroundings made for a good night’s sleep. My only criticism is the pillows: far too soft, with hardly any support. Apart from that, it was definitely worth five stars.

The room and bed were comfortable, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast buffet was more than I expected, and the service was excellent. A beautiful boutique hotel close to the Ring. Highly recommend!

Ralph made us feel very well looked after, was extremely helpful, and spoke very good English. The attention to the little details was appreciated. Hotel Retterath was exceptionally clean and easy to find for our Nürburgring visit. We’ll stay here again on our next trip to the ‘ring!

The beds were only okay, and one of my companions found the mattress a bit too hard. In summer, a fan in the room would also help if it gets too warm. Still, I’d happily stay here again when visiting Nürburgring. The location made getting to and from the track easy, and there was a traditional German restaurant about 100 meters down the road, an easy walk for dinner and beers. The place was very clean, the host kind and attentive, and check-in quick and simple. Breakfast was included, with a decent range and quality on par with what I’d expect. Free parking was a welcome rarity. In other respects, it was what you’d expect of a European hotel.

Less than three miles from the activities, this is a hidden gem with excellent service at a fair price. The staff were wonderful, breakfast excellent, and my room was clean and quiet. A really excellent stay, thank you.
