The beds sit low, though they were really comfortable, and the shower and kitchen were both high quality. Everything was clean and well looked after, with a complimentary bottle of Franconian wine waiting for us. The owners are very dedicated and create a lovely family atmosphere. The open staircase was tricky with our poodle, and the sleeping area was hard to darken. That could bother light sleepers, so I took off a point.

Our children, aged 9 and 10, felt at home right away, and we got such a warm welcome. Thanks for the cookies! The apartment is in a distinctive building and setting, with very modern furnishings. We only stayed briefly and picked it for its location near the highway, but it deserves a longer visit.

Such a peaceful spot, with a really beautiful setting. The couple who run it are fantastic and happy to help with anything. They know the area and its special places, so ask them about the local winegrower whose vineyards are here, or the local baker. The place is welcoming and well equipped. We'll definitely come back :)
