Breakfast service was pretty good, but the internet was very bad. What really spoiled the stay for us was being misinformed about the fireworks. We chose this apartment from Hafermarkt Hotel because a hotel representative told us there would be no New Year's fireworks, as our dog is very afraid of them. There was quite a lot of fireworks for such a small town, so we spent New Year's in the bathroom trying to calm our dog. The owner also suggested the New Year's buffet dinner and promised a wide selection. The choice turned out to be very limited and, at 35 euros per person, it wasn't worth it. The food was okay, but not very good. I could have cooked much better myself.

Breakfast was a real treat, with plenty to choose from, and fresh coffee was always available just by asking. We could take our time at the table each morning. We stayed four nights with our family of five and thoroughly enjoyed it. The modern hotel is practical, nicely decorated, and well maintained, and everything worked as it should. The cleaning was excellent; each evening it felt like we were arriving for the first time. Bringing our dog Bella was easy, and the staff greeted her whenever they saw her, including in the breakfast restaurant. Thanks to the staff for a great Easter stay in 2022. We can certainly recommend Hafermarkt in Wildemann.

The food was fresh and really delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive without hovering. I especially liked how relaxed the place felt, it was easy to unwind. Everything looked clean and well cared for from the start. Such an enjoyable stay, I'd love to return 😎
