We really appreciated being able to check in late. The room was cozy, and the location is lovely and green, with no annoying traffic ❤️

The best part was breakfast, though the coffee was weak, the bread dry, and the cold cuts selection meager. We’d booked spontaneously for one night, but the hotel was apparently full, so we ended up in a guesthouse 300 meters away. Parking was available, and the room was okay for a night. There was no restaurant, and even a drinks machine or a kettle in the room would have helped. After the journey we were thirsty and had to walk the whole length of the street to find a Greek restaurant. We’ve had much better experiences.

We spent more than two and a half hours on this mess, and barely got anything to eat or drink. The restaurant wasn’t even close to full, yet people at nearby tables were having the same problem, with many leaving early before their orders arrived. Nobody there that evening got prompt service. We kept being told the food was on its way, but I can’t explain the delays. We’d come as a group for the advertised “schnitzel buffet.” There was no buffet. We were told to order schnitzel and pay as if it were all-you-can-eat. Drinks and food took ages. When our schnitzel finally came, half the side dishes were missing and never arrived, and the portions weren’t enough for everyone, so we ordered more. Then our plates were cleared without a word. Later, food came out without any sides, and we’d wrongly assumed we’d get clean plates. Thanks, but never again.

The food was outstanding, fresh and regional, and clearly made with care. The place was spotless and lovingly furnished, with wonderful hosts in a fantastic location. We’ll definitely return!
