The balcony view was amazing, and everyone working there was so kind and friendly. Breakfast was the best quality I've ever had. A wonderful place to stop on a long trip, 100% recommend.

We’ve stayed here three times on drives from the UK to Austria. It’s a lovely hotel and restaurant, with a nice pool, sauna and gym, and excellent food.

We found plenty of hikes within walking distance to fill three days, with amazing nature, rock formations and mixed fauna all around. The wellness area is small but thoughtfully laid out, with everything we needed. We first thought the 6 pm closing time was a bit early, but we were getting ready for dinner by then, so it wasn’t really an issue. We spent three nights here in May on half pension and had a great time. The room was clean and spacious, with a pretty, picturesque view. It got quite warm in the early evening, though it wasn’t a major problem. The food was truly great, with enough variety to make each evening feel fresh and a nice wine selection. Breakfast and dinner kept us full even after hiking during the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The decor looks like it’s from the 90s, but everything is clean and works well. The rooms are much bigger than the average hotel room and comfortable. The spa area is lovely, and the food is excellent 👌👌. It’s quiet and relaxing here in the Palatinate Forest near Hauenstein and Annweiler, and the service is very friendly. We’ve stayed several times and will definitely come back.
