The room they eventually told me to take had very old furniture, and my phone only got one bar of coverage. This came after a long, busy day when I went to collect my keys, opened the safe, and found no key inside. I tried all their phone numbers without getting an answer, then called their sister hotel, which gave me another number. When I finally got through, they seemed to find it funny that someone had been in the room assigned to me for three hours. Then they just said to take room ***.

The bistro service was highly recommended, and the location was quiet with a magnificent view. The room was rather small and could use better lighting, but the furnishings were functional and the beds were comfortable. Even with summer heat outside, the old building stayed pleasantly cool.

Parking is a little tight, but the on-site service was extremely friendly. The rooms take some getting used to because of the old walls, yet they stay comfortable even when summer temperatures are over 30 degrees Celsius, and look out onto the park. We’d love to come back!

The hotel was very friendly and helpful. Its breakfast is basic, though you can pay extra for a more substantial breakfast and an evening buffet at the main hotel about 1.5 km away. Highly recommend it.
