Sevda, who I think was the manager or owner, greeted me by name several times when we were coming and going. That made me feel like a real guest. The little hotel is right in the center of Willingen, with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we even had a roomy balcony, which you don't always get in a simple room at a big hotel. The breakfast was basic but filling. The Wi-Fi wasn't always reliable, though that can happen.

My check-in went smoothly, and the staff were friendly. I had single room (2), with a balcony in the annex, facing the back, so it was very quiet. The bathroom had been renovated, the bed was fine, and the generous breakfast buffet was served in the main building. The location in the heart of Willingen is excellent, with everything close by. I would recommend it, but €226 for one person, including breakfast and the questionable tourist tax, felt too expensive.

Service was very good, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is central but still relatively quiet, and breakfast was delicious with a good selection. The place does feel a bit dated, and the mattress was worn out, which is why I didn't give it five stars.
