The hotel itself was great, but getting in late was a really poor experience. We arrived at 9:18 last week, parked in the garage, then found the reception door locked with no note. Carrying our suitcase around to the front entrance was quite a struggle. There we found a note saying reception was closed and listing a number to call. Our first three calls went to voicemail. It was very cold, and thankfully some other guests let us inside. After four calls, a man finally picked up. We said we were at reception and asked him to come quickly, but in poor English he told us to go to the Best Western and hung up. There was no hospitality or help. I don’t blame the man himself, but this felt like a failure of management’s approach to receiving guests.

We only spent one night here, but it was wonderful. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well equipped, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. My favorite part was the wellness area, and there was lots of choice at the tasty breakfast buffet. A perfect stay. Thank you!

At a four-star hotel, I expect the service to match what the rooms cost, even for a one-night stay. I forgot my bank card, and they would only send it back if I paid €10 for postage. On top of the room price, that fee is ridiculous, and having to deal with it wastes your time. The customer service was inadequate. Gentlemen, a pretty mountain view isn't all that makes a four-star hotel. Service and flexibility matter too. Just something to think about.
