The place was spotless, nicely decorated, and neatly kept. There’s a separate bedroom, and the mattresses were so good I had no back pain. The shower tray is spacious too. The kitchenette has a two-ring induction hob, coffee maker, kettle, cutlery, glasses, plates, an egg cooker, microwave, and fridge. Bring your own coffee, filters, tea, sugar, and milk. You can get breakfast downstairs in the bakery shop, which also sells rolls, cookies, cakes, and bread. There are plenty of restaurants close by and in the next village, and a large Rewe supermarket is nearby. It’s open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 to 22:00.

The apartments are very clean and really nice. The WiFi signal could be stronger, though.

I’ve been there now and then to pick up an elderly lady, so I’ve seen the place for myself. I’d probably come back another time. Schwalbennest has lovely rooms or apartments and great food, including breakfast. There’s plenty to do, from hiking and swimming to eating well and cycling, and Willingen is close by. I’d definitely recommend it. 👍👍👍

The setting is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and the service is good. The bread and pastries were delicious too.
