We came for the Rothenburg Christmas market and stayed one night. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a delicious traditional German spread of bread, meat, and cheese.

Landhaus Lebert is in a tiny village a 10-15 minute drive from Rothenburg, and the drive is well worth it. It’s a lovely place run by a warm, sincere family. We had the best food of our trip in Germany: everything from soups and salads to deer, lamb, and desserts was gourmet quality. The special house wine deserves a mention too. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The food gets 5.5/5 from me, while the rooms are a 4/5. The rooms were nice and clean, but the restaurant was the best part.
