We came back for a second meal after eating here the first time, and it was just as good. Rothenburg’s restaurants were all full on Saturday evening, so we called this place. Every dish has its own delicious flavor, even the fries and salad seemed better than at other places. They put real emphasis on fresh regional produce. The food was outstanding, and I’ll remember those Bavarian flavors for a long time.

We were rushing and had no dinner plan, but the staff still made time for us and were very helpful, despite a busy day during a local holiday. The portions were generous and the food was amazing. I’d highly recommend the restaurant, and next time we’ll stay at the hotel too.

A decent hotel, though take care driving from Rothenburg at night. There aren’t any streetlights.

We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it and will surely come back. It’s a very nice family-run gasthof, with a clean, pleasant room and a great breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, and dinner was delicious and well cooked. There was good local wine and a varied menu to choose from.

The restaurant serves good classic German dishes, including wienerschnitzel, along with good beer. I stayed for one night and found it a perfect stopover. The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff were polite.
