The fireplace evenings, sharing stories, were such a fun part of our stay. Andre and Soraya made us feel at home, and they’re genuinely warm, welcoming hosts. Their inn was just right for us, with lovely decor, spacious comfortable rooms, and the ski slopes close by. We also really enjoyed the generous breakfast buffet. We had an amazing time and hope to come back. We’d happily encourage other travelers to stay here too! Lots of love from your delighted, noisy Greek visitors, Dimitris-Sofia-Cryssa-Maria.

The kids felt right at home, and we’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in Winterberg. We spent three nights at Berghaus Winterberg with our two kids last week and loved it. André and Soraya are wonderful hosts, and the hotel is clean and in a beautiful spot just outside Winterberg. We had two double rooms, both a decent size, and the kids were delighted by the limited edition white chocolate soap. The shower had a strong stream and a nice temperature. The Latte Macchiato with Baileys was really good too. Breakfast was great, with a different egg dish each morning. It was one of the busiest weeks, during carnaval vakantie, so dinner was also available on Tuesday and Wednesday. We had tomato soup and spaghetti on Tuesday, then nachos and cheese, plus Currywurst and wedges on Wednesday. Soraya’s Stroopwafel Porfait was our favorite dessert.

We loved our long weekend in Winterberg and enjoyed every minute. The view was amazing, the beds were really nice, and Berghaus was very clean. André and Soraya were such great hosts, and both breakfast and dinner were great. Many thanks to Dré & Sor.
