Our owner contact was very friendly, and the house made for a calm break from everyday life. We felt right at home, me, my husband, and our dog, who was very welcome. The little house is charmingly furnished and has everything you might need. The main floor is all on one level, with a staircase leading up to a bedroom that could suit children. The garden is fenced, though there are openings on both sides of the house that are easy to close off.
We spent a weekend here as a family of five and loved the location, just a three-minute drive from the Postwiese meadow for tobogganing. The house has space for up to six people plus a baby bed, and it was charmingly furnished and clean. It felt like good value, and getting around was easy. Arranging everything with the hosts by email went smoothly. We had a wonderful time, and can see ourselves returning and becoming regular guests. Thank you, best wishes from the Aster family.
The cottage is on the small side, but it has everything we needed, including laundry facilities, and dogs are welcome too. We've stayed twice this summer. The kids had lots of toys and a nice outdoor area to play in. It's a quiet spot, with plenty of fun places to visit nearby for day trips.
We keep enjoying our stays at this holiday home on the Rothaarsteig trail. It's a lovely place to relax, cozy and nicely furnished, with room for several people. The low ceilings upstairs take a little getting used to. There's a small village shop for essentials, handy on weekends and holidays, and nearby you can hike, walk, cycle, or go-karting.
There was even a toy car for the kids, along with everything from a grill onward, so the house felt well equipped. It's cozy too. The low ceiling beneath the roof, where four beds are, bothered us a little, but we made it work. 😃
