The service was very poor for such a premium price. The place itself was only so-so, and the location wasn’t anything special. Winterberg gets boring after a couple of hours as a ski resort. I regret spending that much money there.

We got one-time free tickets for several nearby attractions, and the staff were helpful. The scenery is beautiful too, making this a great place to stay.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the accommodations were clean and pleasant. It was convenient to have a separate house that welcomes dogs.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a terrace, and parking was easy. We also loved the warm bread in the morning. Mary, her husband, and the receptionist were all so welcoming and took great care of us. The hotel itself was clean, warm, and fantastic. Dogs are allowed, but cats aren't, so I hope cat owners can be welcomed too. Thanks so much from my whole family. We’ll definitely be back.

The location deserves the one star. We stayed two nights, and the place was dirty and musty, with mold on the window frames and dust in every corner. The heating kept failing, and we were told to switch the power off for 30 seconds. When we got in touch, the response was, “That’s just how it is!” There was no help, fix, or cleaning. Really sad.
