Moselhotel Weinhaus Simon

We had a lovely time at Mosel Hotel Weinhaus Simon. The location made it easy to explore the Mosel region, and the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. Our room was cozy and spotless, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the staff were so friendly and helpful that we felt right at home. I’d definitely come back.

The landscape is gorgeous, and the hotel is beautiful too, but the staff were disappointing. I’d say hello and get no response. It felt like tourists weren’t wanted, and someone was rarely at the desk. I’d hoped for information about the area and the available amenities, but got none. The desk was closed for much of the afternoon and evening. I became extremely sick during the stay. The power and internet were out for most of one morning, and nobody on staff acknowledged it. My husband explained how ill I was, but they still said we had to change rooms and pay for it. We won’t return.

The rooms are modern and really nice, the food was amazing, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. I’d pay twice as much for this experience. This hotel deserves five stars!

The breakfast was really good, and there’s a decent restaurant here too, though the wine list is a bit of a joke. You can charge an EV right outside. It’s a bright little hotel with a lovely atmosphere, and a great base for exploring the Mosel.
