The location worked well, with the train station and a supermarket nearby. The rooms were clean and modern, and breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly too. My only gripe was the single bed, which wasn’t very comfortable, and there was no sofa or armchair in the room.

The room was clean and felt new, and housekeeping did a great job. Still, getting in was a hassle: our keys only worked now and then, and we got locked out. There was rarely anyone at the desk to help. The hotel was nice otherwise, but it also had no air conditioning.

We were a group of 46, staying for a whole week with Northumbrian Wind. The hotel had lovely outdoor spaces and a good-quality play area for the children, and it was clean and comfortable in a quiet spot. Breakfast had a great range, the food was good, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I’d recommend it to families, couples, or larger groups.

If you’re planning to eat at the restaurant, book a table ahead. It’s quite popular, and for good reason: the food was delicious. The hotel itself is really nice, with rooms that look modern and even stylish.

The atmosphere made the whole stay unforgettable, and the room and people were lovely too. It’s a beautiful hotel in an amazing town. I’d happily go back again and again.
