The extensive breakfast was good, and nights were quiet. We spent a week here in September, in a first-floor room with good beds, spacious wardrobes, a large bathroom with two sinks, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, TV, and safe. There was also a stocked refrigerator. A number of things around the building need attention. The room 7 window panes were dirty between the glass, one chair's fabric was coming off, and the second bathroom sink was old and stained, even though the modern mirror with rotating lights was great. I mentioned the cleaning issue at breakfast, but the staff weren't available on two days, and crumbs on the room table stayed there for four days. On Sunday afternoon a loud fan, possibly from a basement clothes dryer, ran for 1.5 hours and made it impossible to relax on the balcony in the sun. Nearly all the exterior door windows by reception were dirty or streaky after cleaning. Coming back at night, the entrance hall stays pitch-black until the light comes on at the far end by the stairs. I tripped on a raised manhole cover I couldn't see in the dark. The entrance door says the building dates from 1976. It may be time to replace the glass windows so guests can see the surroundings clearly.

Breakfast was excellent, with nothing missing, and they make egg dishes fresh if you ask. The welcome was very friendly, and the room was great and clean. A kettle in the room would have been nice for an evening cup of tea. Thanks for a lovely stay. I'd recommend the hotel.

Breakfast was outstanding, with lots to choose from, especially delicious bread and rolls. The staff were friendly without hovering, and the sauna and adjoining lounge were excellent, very clean, and furnished with lovely attention to detail. We stayed one night and were welcomed warmly; everything was explained, and there was a phone for contacting the owners directly if we had questions later. That worked really well. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We'd gladly return and highly recommend the hotel and breakfast.

Everything is easy to reach on foot, and our short break was very pleasant. This is a small, quiet, very clean hotel run by a lovely couple. The modern rooms are well kept, and breakfast has everything you'd want. We'd happily return.

The owners and staff are very friendly, and the rooms are large, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast has a good, varied selection, with eggs made to order scrambled, fried, or boiled. It's a very nice hotel, and I'll definitely come back.
