The owners are wonderfully friendly and make you feel at home. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and had nice showers, and breakfast is well worth trying. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back in Wittlich.

I really appreciated the roomy shower cubicle, which was much bigger than what I've found in most German hotels. I had booked a single room for one night, but they generously gave me a large double with a verandah, a nice spot to watch a thunderstorm roll in. I arrived at 2 pm without realizing check-in wasn't until after 4, but since the room was ready, checking in was easy. Breakfast was excellent too. I highly recommend this hotel.

A decent place for steak in Wittlich, with a few choices and a free salad bar. The servers were accommodating and reasonably quick to respond to our group's needs. Most steaks came out cooked right, though there were a few misses. A good option for a decent steak dinner.

We were staying at Wittlicher hof because our dad died while we were there, and we had been with him at the hospital. Wittlicher hof looked after us so well and did what they could to make the stay easier. They even arranged dinner at the last minute for 20 people on Saturday night. Thanks so much for making a difficult time a little easier.
