I found the place easily enough by bus, but couldn't get the room key from the lockbox. There was no staff available after 12pm today, and I spent an hour trying to open a key safe that still wouldn't work. That wasn't good enough by any standard. Modern key safes don't cost much, and the one there clearly gets the same numbers entered over and over until they've rubbed off. I'm very annoyed. No one answered by email or phone, so I had to make other arrangements quickly. I was unlikely to return or recommend it. Update: I got an apology by email the next day, and they waived the room charge. I appreciated that, so I've added an extra star.

We had a lovely one-night stay with the dogs. The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was nice, though it was a small buffet. The bed was comfortable, but it was made from two beds pushed together, so it was hard to get close to each other.

The town is beautiful and the people are very friendly. The hotel room was very small and hot in August, with no AC, but it's still a nice place to visit!
