The food was delicious and generous, and it came out promptly along with our drinks. Our group of eight dropped in spontaneously for dinner on the way back from a day trip. The hostess was very welcoming and quickly joined two tables so we could sit together. Everyone found something they liked on the menu. The salad was nicely dressed, and my roast beef was perfectly medium-rare. Thanks so much. We'll be back.

The meal was delicious, and the onion roast beef is well worth trying. This is a cozy, clean, well-kept inn with tasteful, interesting decor that reflects its history. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived.

The beer garden made for a lovely evening, one of the last we spent there. You wouldn't expect such a spot at an inn right on the main street. Service was friendly, and they handled all our special requests without complaint. The roast pork was excellent. We could have asked for more gravy, but that was on us. The schnitzel was the letdown: the coating wasn't crisp, and the texture seemed like it came straight from the freezer, so it didn't feel handmade. That's why I'm taking off a star.
