Boutique Hotel Goldene Henne

Breakfast didn't have much variety, though the eggs were cooked well. The walls also seemed very thin: I could hear people talking in the halls and my neighbor's alarms going off. The daily room "cleaning" was mostly opening the curtains, making the bed and moving the towels around. They weren't changed, and mine seemed to stay wet from the day before until my last day. There was also a thick layer of dust under the bed. The location is great, close enough to the center to walk pretty much anywhere. My company booked two rooms for my coworker and me, but I was the only one who got a key from the key box because he was given the wrong PIN. We arrived late, after reception had closed, so I blame the hotel for my bad night, not my coworker or his terrible sleeping habits. He did get a free dinner as compensation.

It felt more like staying in a home than a hotel, and the staff were so nice. The breakfast was very good. Even the small single room was very clean, with a spacious bathroom. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the city center and VW Autostadt. Highly recommended.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding for the price of a stay in Wolfsburg. It's a privately owned hotel, with a super-fast check-in and very clean rooms, most of them renovated. You can walk to Autostadt and Wolfsburg Outlet Center.

The staff are extraordinarily polite, and the food is super tasty. I can highly recommend this place. If you're from the region, what are you waiting for?
