I was really disappointed that nobody replied to the written feedback I sent afterward. I had booked a single room more than two months ahead through the hotel's website, but on arrival I was told my room was down the road, in someone's home. As a woman travelling alone, I didn't feel safe there, and the room looked nothing like the website photos. The bathroom had a very bad smell. The pictures show the room, the stairs leading up to it, and the house.

The change to a single room on our second day went smoothly, and many thanks to the hotel owner for that. We had booked four nights with half board through Reiseaktuell.com and needed the change for health reasons. We hadn't known the supplement through Reiseaktuell.com was €20.00 per night, or €80.00 total. The bill we later received from the hotel showed €35.00 per night, €140.00 altogether. The owner hadn't told us about the higher charge in advance, and we weren't pleased. It would have been better to let us know beforehand. Regards, Gunter.

Breakfast was very good, and the bathroom especially impressed us. We needed a double room for one night at short notice on a Sunday evening because we couldn't find anywhere else in Wolgast. We were given a really warm welcome, even though our late arrival must have been stressful. The service was so friendly, and the room was clean and modern. Highly recommended!
