Hotel Heppenheimer Hof

My child and I stayed one night and felt right at home. The room was roomy, and the beds were comfortable. There was also a lovely gesture behind my five stars that I'll keep to myself. I can absolutely recommend the hotel.

The breakfast was a letdown for €15 each: cheap food, bored staff, and refrigerators that were much too noisy. Our attic room was also a problem, with kitchen sounds going on through the night, a filthy skylight, and some ripped towels. The hotel needs serious renovation. The carpets are worn, the curtains have holes, the furniture is dated, and noise carries throughout the rooms.

We arrived late because we were passing through, and the key pickup was perfectly organized: a code opened the mailbox where the keys were waiting. The hotel is clean and lovely, with large rooms, and it's close to the A61, so it worked well for a stopover. Breakfast was tasty and generous, though I missed having brown bread.

Being welcomed at midnight on Christmas Eve after we'd forgotten our key, then getting a coffee on the house the next morning, felt like Christmas indeed. The room was lovely and clean, the accommodation was wonderful, and the price was great. Thank you so much. The Ecker family.
