We were surprised by how early things shut down: restaurants close at 9:30, and by 10 most places are closed. After that, you may need to drive quite a while to find a restaurant still serving. Breakfast was decent and cost 10 euros per person. The rooms and the rest of the hotel were very clean and well maintained. Ours had a balcony overlooking the church, though the bells could bother some people. The place also feels very much of the region. Getting by in town was difficult for us because nobody seemed to speak English. As a non-white person, I also got strange looks around town, enough to make me wonder if people were racist. The evening reception staff couldn't speak English either, but later someone from the bar helped us. He spoke excellent English and was very friendly.

We had a balcony, and the people were very friendly. The rooms are clean, each with its own bathroom, TV, and Wi-Fi. There’s a restaurant as well as hotel rooms here. I’d recommend it.

Peace and quiet are easy to find here, and we had a magical stay! 🌸💕 The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the vacation apartments are gorgeous, with free parking. Everything is close by in Wremen, including a small supermarket just two minutes away. There are tasty restaurants next door for nights when you don’t want to cook. The dike takes about ten minutes on foot, or five minutes by bike along a lovely country lane.

The garden and the rest of the property are a real masterpiece, and my room felt like a work of art. The hosts were perfect. I’d love to return and am already looking forward to another visit. Thanks again.
