The rooms are quiet and inviting, and many have spectacular views of Würzburg. The restaurant serves refined regional food with a superb range of local wines, and breakfast has both excellent quality and plenty of choice. Service throughout the hotel is warm, attentive and genuinely professional. The Schlosshotel Steinburg sits above the city, with breathtaking views of the river Main and the vineyards creating a memorable atmosphere. Its historic character and modern comforts are carried through to the smallest details, all to a very high standard. It’s a wonderful option for a weekend, a special occasion or simply a relaxing break. I left smiling and already looking forward to coming back.

Our family had a great stay at the Schlosshotel Steinburg. The room and view were spectacular, and the food was great. Service was very friendly. Highly recommended! The picture shows the actual view from our room and bed.

The rooms were beautiful, the food was great and the service was wonderful. The views were amazing, and we really enjoyed the hotel. The one thing keeping me from giving it 10/10 was the noise from the bar downstairs. We stayed in the modern section, and there was a party in the hotel bar below us that night. Music and noise carried on until around 11, making it hard to sleep. That was rough for a light sleeper like me.

A beautiful hotel in a scenic setting, with gracious and helpful staff. M. Kimmel at the front desk was exceptional.

This was by far the fanciest hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The view is incredible, and you can sit on the terrace for hours without tiring of it. Our room was fabulous, clean and well equipped, and that tub was just perfection. Breakfast was delicious, and we couldn’t have been happier with the service. Everyone was lovely and very helpful.
