They were busy, but still found a place for me even though I hadn’t reserved. I don’t speak German, yet the person who looked after me, who I believe was the owner, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He suggested the Schweineschaufele, a traditional Franconian crispy pork shoulder, and even showed me how to eat it off the bone. I tried a couple of beers too, helles and weiss, and both were delicious. I loved the experience and highly recommend it.

On my second visit today, I just stopped for beers on the way back to the bus station. The little beer garden out back was great on a hot day like this. Quite a few tables were reserved, so I’d book ahead if I wanted food. The food looked good, and I’ll try it another time. Cheers.

The waitress was kind and pleasant, and the white wine was good. I also had one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten in Germany, crispy roasted pork shoulder.

We came across this lovely restaurant in Wurzburg and had such a nice lunch. Amin gave us excellent service, and everything was great value. The pork shoulder and schnitzel were both delicious, and even the side salad stood out. The portions were so big we couldn’t finish. I’d highly recommend it.

Thanks, guys, we had a great stay. The biergarten was really quaint, and there was a great range of beers on tap.
