Dornbusch Apartment 1

We had a lovely stay and would definitely return. The apartment is right in the center by the lake, though the two bedrooms are at the back, so it stays peaceful for sleeping. The terrace has a table, chairs, and loungers, making it a nice spot to eat or unwind. It was very clean and well cared for, with a kitchen that had all we needed, including a dishwasher, oven, freezer compartment in the refrigerator, and microwave.

The view of Lake Steinhude from the living room and kitchen matched the photos, and the apartment was warm when we arrived, with tasteful furnishings. The information folder was detailed and useful, even in the age of Google. We found everything we needed in the little kitchen, and the extra separate toilet was a lovely surprise. Both bedrooms had blackout blinds and fly screens, and the beds worked well for us, though that's personal. Good for an afternoon nap, too. It's quiet, the bedrooms face the back, and our car was under a carport. No real complaints, but the hallway motion detector felt a bit too bright when we got up for the bathroom at night.

We had a lovely view from the big terrace, and the landlady was very friendly. The apartment was tastefully furnished and clean, with all the dishes and basics we needed. I'd definitely recommend it.
