The balcony was a lovely spot for breakfast or coffee, and the apartment had all the modern amenities we needed. Check-in was very easy, and our teenage kids and we were comfortable, with good Wi-Fi throughout. We chose the place for its short drive to Phantasia land, less than 10 minutes away. It also made getting to Cologne simple, since Bruhl train station is only a few minutes by car. Across from the station, we were surprised to find a palace with fabulous gardens, a UNESCO heritage site and well worth seeing if you're in the area. There aren't many shops nearby, and having a car is useful. We also really enjoyed the gastro pub next to the station. The food, beer, and wine were excellent, and we'd highly recommend it.

We didn't use the car, so the walks of 1 to 3 kilometers to shops and the S-Bahn station were a nice way to keep active. They aren't right nearby, though. The place was peaceful, with plenty of space and a balcony facing the garden. Everything we needed for three days was there, the bed was comfortable, and it was all very clean. The caretaker was helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There are big bedrooms, a roomy shower, and the whole place is clean, spacious, and neatly arranged. A good option if it's available, about 20 km from Cologne.

We'd happily stay again on our next Phantasialand trip. The apartment was top-notch, and arranging the rental was completely straightforward. The landlord was always reachable, too.

The Edeka supermarket is easy to reach on foot through the underpass opposite the hotel. The location is convenient, yet it stays very quiet even with the train station nearby. We had a really pleasant stay, especially thanks to how comfortable it was to sleep 👍
