Haus Im Naturpark

The landlord was the worst part of our three-day stay. He was unfriendly whenever we dealt with him, both by email and face to face. The building and rooms felt very cold, which made things uncomfortable, and the place looked run-down even though it was clean. There was no breakfast. We can't recommend it based on our experience.

We won't be coming back, even though the location is central. Our room was dirty, with a filthy bathroom fan and spiders, and during five days the bathroom was cleaned just once. Vacuuming was poor, if it happened at all. Parking also wasn't at the hotel as advertised, so we ended up on a side street. We weren't greeted once, not even at breakfast, and the place felt very impersonal. Construction right outside the window cut our night short; instead of speaking with us, someone left earplugs on the nightstand. The house rules said guests couldn't have more than two rolls. We only ate one each, so it didn't affect us, but I don't think that rule is okay for someone who wants more.

The food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and well cared for. It's close to the lake but still quiet, which made the location ideal. Everything was top-notch, and I'd definitely stay here again.

We ended up finding somewhere else because we felt we wouldn't get any sleep here. The room faces a busy main road, and even with the window shut the noise came through. Earplugs were already waiting on the bedside tables. The room itself was simply furnished and okay, and the breakfast buffet looked appealing. We heard nothing back from the landlord.
