The beer was very good, but there was only one kind to choose from. The beef roast was overcooked and dry as a boot sole.

Everything was fresh and served piping hot, and the food was delicious. The schnitzels were huge, almost too much to finish, and the sauce was amazing! 😋

The schnitzel is freshly cut and breaded, and comes out juicy and delicious. Great value for money. The place has that classic pub feel, despite looking quite unassuming from outside. If you're after a good schnitzel, this is a real insider tip. We'll definitely come back.

I always go for the currywurst 😋, though there's plenty else on offer. The Zum Alten Fritz community center has hearty, delicious home-style cooking, including freshly prepared currywurst and regular, XL, or XXL schnitzels. Seasonal options such as asparagus and chanterelles are available too. You're warmly welcomed, and the friendly staff bring each guest a menu. I highly recommend the restaurant, and reservations are advisable on weekends.

The service was friendly and the homemade food delicious. It had a cozy feel, but it was so cold that we were freezing and wished we could put our jackets back on.
