Ferienwohnung Eschenbeek

We were comfortable for the whole week in the Eschenbeek apartment, and the hosts were attentive and had everything covered. Shops are close by, and the area is lovely for walks. The terrace overlooking the garden was fantastic. We had no bad weather during our stay, but the covered terrace would probably be great in the rain too. 😉 😊🌞🌞🌞

The balcony overlooking the gardens was a lovely place to sit or grill. It had a table for four and a parasol. We were a family of two adults and two children, and the welcome was very warm. The apartment was clean and comfortable. There are two dogs in the house, though we didn’t actually see either of them. The dog downstairs barks loudly when the bell rings, but otherwise we couldn’t hear him. The living room was bright and modern, with lots of TV channels, games, magazines, and leisure activities. The sofa bed was comfortable, and the bedding for two was freshly prepared in the bed drawer, with a little goodie. The small bedroom was nicely furnished and also had fresh bedding and a goodie. I slept well there, though I found the mattress a bit too hard. The bathroom was large and bright, with a washing machine, a hairdryer, and various useful odds and ends. Each guest had one bath towel, two hand towels, and a washcloth. In the entrance there was a small wardrobe, a dining nook for four, and a highchair. The small kitchen was fully equipped with a ceramic stove, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, and a fridge with a freezer compartment. We had a wonderful family stay in Eschenbeek.

It was handy having the bus stop nearby, though the house is right in the middle of the city. Inside, it was spacious, tidy, and fully equipped. The pellet stove made it feel quite warm, and it’s a beautiful home.

The place was rather cramped for five of us and not very clean. The welcome felt unfriendly. On arrival, the man told us to just leave the key in the outside lock, and nobody came to say goodbye.
