The room felt in pretty rough shape, and there was no hot water from the basin tap. I had to tighten it very firmly to stop it dripping, and there was no soap or dispenser by the basin. The light above the mirror didn’t work either. The bed was comfortable. After I mentioned I might arrive around midnight, reception kindly left my key in a locker and even called to make sure I’d received the message. Still, the stay was less than I expected.

The Schwebebahn station is just seconds away, and there are plenty of places to eat and pubs nearby. I’d read reviews about the showers, but had no problems, with plenty of warm water. I also had a TV to watch some euro games sober. Great hotel, and they treated me like an adult.

The price was good, but the room wasn’t great. The door didn’t close properly at first, so I had to lock it with the key, and the pillow was really flat. The sky train noise was disturbing too. You could hear it every 10-15 minutes. I also hadn’t expected just one bathroom and two toilets for the whole hotel room area. It felt more like a hostel with private rooms.
