The owners are very accommodating, and the lakefront apartment made for a truly relaxing stay. The beds and mattresses were excellent. There's a beautiful, large conservatory, though it gets a bit too warm in summer when the sun is out. You can also use the garden, where tables, chairs, and loungers are provided.

The room overlooking the lake was the highlight for us. Waking up to that lovely view has a special kind of magic. The guesthouse was clean and very well maintained, and it's also a great place to start walks and hikes. We stayed almost exactly a year ago and were warmly welcomed by our host, Marie Anne, who also gave us great tips for excursions. Marie Anne, thank you for such a wonderful, relaxing time. :-)

We had enjoyable evenings in the garden by the lake, with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. Our room was comfortable, exceptionally clean, and quiet, with a large TV and excellent Wi-Fi. The kitchen we booked separately had everything we needed. Everything was perfect, and we'd gladly return.

All the sights, restaurants, and activities are within walking distance, and we highly recommend this lakeside guesthouse. The location is unique. 👌 From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly comfortable. Everything had been prepared with such care. Our room was large and bright, with a fabulous view of the lake and cathedral. We also spent wonderful hours in the well-kept garden. We'd love to come back! 👍

A perfect spot for a short break, with friendly people and good basic amenities. There are rooms or apartments, plus a lovely garden with seating and lake views. Restaurants and breakfast options are nearby, and Xanten's pedestrian zone is 1 km away.
