The rooms were superb, the service top-notch, and the food was great. Prices were very reasonable too.

The apartments and rooms are great, but the location right by a very busy road makes it really loud.

This is a lovely family-run guesthouse, with modern rooms that are clean and tidy. The staff are friendly, and breakfast is generous: fresh fruit, homemade jam, cold cuts from their own butcher shop, and eggs cooked to order, among other things.

The very friendly, helpful staff and a very good breakfast were highlights. There was delicious sausage, cheese, salmon, and more, though we would have liked a bigger or better range of fruit and sweets. The rooms were large and clean with parquet floors, but the furnishings weren't comfortable for our taste. Four of us stayed, and the mattresses felt far too soft and thin, while the pillows were uncomfortable. We barely slept over three nights. I had a kettle, but only two peppermint tea bags for the whole stay, and they weren't replenished. The bathrooms looked modern and nice, but there was no shower gel, only liquid kitchen soap by the sink. The cosmetic tissues were almost gone when we arrived and weren't replaced. On our last day, loud noises woke us at 6 a.m. and kept getting worse. I couldn't tell if they came from the hotel, the butcher's shop, or the surrounding area, but they were unbearable, even with earplugs. It was our worst night. We were on a business trip and needed proper rest most of all, so this wasn't the hotel for us and gets only two stars. It's right by the street, looking onto the old barn with a big advertising sign.
