The children had a very nice time over our two nights, and it was definitely a good experience for them. My wife was fairly happy too, though I felt stressed from check-in onward, worrying about damaging or scratching anything. At check-in we were told that a late checkout would cost an extra €20, but that option was denied when we left. There's also a €150 deposit, and they questioned us about a scratch on a stainless steel pot. We had been shown everything and told we could walk around freely without giving notice. For me, it was above average overall.

The children, aged 4 and 10, loved helping with the animals: feeding and leading the goats, gathering chicken eggs, grooming the ponies and feeding the cows. We parents could relax while they played on the playground, which has lovely afternoon shade. We spent a wonderful week here as a family. The Schmider family welcomed us warmly, and the apartment had everything we needed. They were always around for questions or requests. The farm shop is open around the clock and has a delicious range of products. Mrs. Schmider's homemade cinnamon rolls are especially worth trying. It's also a handy starting point for great outings in the Black Forest. We'd happily return and highly recommend it.

The kids had a blast with the goats and the other animals. It's a lovely little farm with really friendly hosts. There's a farm shop next to the house with lots of tasty things for self-catering, and the forest is only about a five-minute walk away.

We felt very comfortable and are already thinking about coming back. The sun loungers, views and playground were lovely. During an evening tour with Ann-Kathrin, we fed cows, collected eggs, groomed ponies and walked the goats, while learning a lot about the farm's daily work. The shop was handy too: its locally made pasta and tomato sauce made a quick, tasty family meal, and there were eggs, bread, ice cream, sausage, cheese, drinks and more. We spent seven nights here with our two girls, aged 6 and 4, enjoying the farm, the Schmider family and several hikes in the surrounding area. It's a fantastic farm for visitors young and old ;-)
