The room was fine, though the walls and doors are so thin you can hear the alarm next door. The location is central, and breakfast was pretty good for the price. When I needed to leave early, they even had it ready ten minutes before 7:00 AM.

The place has a rustic, pleasant feel, and the service was friendly. We had duck with sauerkraut and a little ice cream for dessert, along with the venison goulash and dumplings, which were fantastic. Everything was superb, just like Mom used to make. Five stars from us! 🤗👌💯

I stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, especially the excellent dumplings. I’d be happy to come back.

The service was friendly, and the food is traditional German cooking. I’ll certainly return.

We’ve spent two weeks scootering around Germany, and nowhere welcomed us as warmly as this place. We don’t speak German or English, but they did all they could to help us feel comfortable. The room was nice, with a brand new bathroom, and the traditional atmosphere was well cared for. We had dinner there too and felt at ease in the warm setting. The food and wine were excellent, the prices fair, and the owners top-notch. It’s also handy for a stopover, close to the highway.
