The hotel was clean and in a cool location, but the Wi-Fi wouldn't work in my room, so I had to sit outside to use it. The owners came across as very unfriendly. The guy called me several times to come downstairs and pay immediately, with a bad attitude. That felt pretty unconventional and unprofessional. Breakfast wasn't self-service, probably because of corona, but the lady was super stingy. She wouldn't give me two boiled eggs and said, “nur eins” :))) Come on, it's only 50 cents. A small change in attitude could make a traveler's experience way more delightful.

The waiters were really kind, and the food and drinks were great. Everything was clean and comfortable too. The place itself is really nice, but there was a somewhat aggressive atmosphere from the chief of the house. Work on that and the experience would be really good :)

The restaurant is cozy, and we felt comfortable there every time we went with our family. We had a delicious three-course meal on several visits, with excellent service from Mr. Engel. Thanks to him and the kitchen, we really enjoyed our meals and look forward to coming again. I don't get the comments about dogs. Not allowing them may be a hygiene issue, and maybe some guests aren't comfortable around them. It seems unfair to give a one-star rating just because dogs aren't allowed. If you don't have a dog, I highly recommend this restaurant! 👍🍀🥂

The service was excellent from the cleaning staff through to the owners, and we never experienced a bad tone among us. I've stayed here twice, first in 2023 at the hotel and then in a holiday apartment in September 2025. Both were in a very quiet spot, ideal if you really want to unwind, with beautiful surroundings and plenty to explore. The rooms were a bit small in both places, but there were only two of us. In the apartment, the hot water boiler unfortunately broke down. It was repaired fairly quickly and efficiently, and we got a nice apology gift. The food is very good, though it's a shame the restaurant closes if there are no reservations. If no guests are expected, what can you do? 🤷🏼♀️ One evening, we had a barbecue and lit the fire pit with several other guests. That was lovely.
